Maratha leader/ chhatrapati shivaji maharaj

Maratha leader / chhatrapati shivaji maharaj

The year is 1674. We see the majestic Raigad Fort, the capital of the Maratha Empire, located in the Sahyadri mountain range. The camera zooms in to a group of men walking towards the throne room. We see SHIVAJI, a charismatic and fearless leader in his 50s, leading the group. He is accompanied by his trusted advisor, BAJIRAO, and his son, SAMBHAJI.

SHIVAJI

(to Bajirao)

What news do you have for me, my friend?

BAJIRAO

We have received word that the Mughal army is planning to attack us, my lord.

SHIVAJI

(smiling)

Let them come. We are ready for them.

SAMBHAJI

(frowning)

But father, they have ten times our number.

SHIVAJI

(sternly)

That doesn't matter. We have something they don't - the courage to fight for our land and our people.

BAJIRAO

(nodding)

And the will to never give up, no matter how hard the battle.

SHIVAJI

(proudly)

That's right. We are the Marathas, and we will not bow down to anyone.

Suddenly, a messenger enters the throne room, out of breath.

MESSENGER

(panting)

My lord, the Mughal army is at our doorstep. They have already breached the outer walls.

SHIVAJI

(gritting his teeth)

It's time. Prepare the troops. We will defend our land with our lives.

SHIVAJI

(fighting fiercely)

For Swarajya! For our people!

Bajirao fights alongside him, using his skills with the sword to cut through Mughal soldiers.

BAJIRAO

(to Shivaji)

We need to retreat, my lord. The Mughals are too many.

SHIVAJI

(firmly)

No, we will not retreat. We will fight until our last breath.

SAMBHAJI

(standing next to his father)

Father, I will fight with you.

SHIVAJI

(proudly)

You are my son. You have the blood of the Marathas in your veins. Fight with courage and honor.

The battle continues, with the Maratha army fighting against the odds. Just when it seems like all is lost, Shivaji makes a bold move. He orders a small group of his best soldiers to infiltrate the Mughal camp and attack their leader, Aurangzeb.

SHIVAJI

(to the soldiers)

Remember, you are not just fighting for me or for the Maratha Empire. You are fighting for our land, our people, and our freedom. Go, and make us proud.

The small group of soldiers sneaks into the Mughal camp and attacks Aurangzeb. In the confusion and chaos, the Mughal army begins to retreat.

SHIVAJI

(looking at the retreating Mughal army)

We have won. The Marathas have once again shown their courage and bravery.

Bajirao and Sambhaji nod in agreement.

BAJIRAO

(smiling)

Indeed, my lord. We have shown the world that we are not to be underestimated.

SHIVAJI

(looking at his son)

And you, my son, have shown me that you are ready to lead the Marathas when I am gone.

SAMBHAJI

(nodding)

I will make you proud, father.
